Vaan R5 wins Multihull of the Year Award!
With great pride and gratitude we just learned that the Vaan R5 has won the Multihull of the Year Award 2024. Earlier this year the Vaan R5 was nominated at the Miami International Boat Show by Multihulls World Magazine, the Multihull Boat Show and Multihull of the Year.
The R5’s win is a great encouragement for our team that works with great dedication to make exclusive sailing catamarans that are truly sustainable and a great sailing experience.
Winning an award is of course very nice. But winning a peoples choice award is even more fantastic and humbling. We want to thank all the people that voted for Vaan and all our customers.

Vaan was invited to Oslo to speak about the value of aluminium in moving towards zero-impact pleasure yachting. At the industry conference organised by Norsk Hydro, Vaan shared the stage with Porsche, both invited as frontrunners in applying the highly sustainable Hydro aluminium.
